Getting Started
Connect your wallet, configure a strategy, go live
Prerequisites
- A wallet — Phantom or MetaMask — browser extension used only to sign you in. You approve one signature (a "Sign-In With Ethereum" message); AntFlow never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
- USDC on Polygon — your trading money. Either native USDC or USDC.e works — send whichever you have to the deposit address AntFlow gives you, and it's auto-converted to pUSD (Polymarket's trading-collateral token). No separate gas token is needed to deposit.
- About $5 to start — Polymarket's exchange requires a minimum order of 5 shares, which costs roughly $5 depending on price.
Quickstart
First-time setup is a short, guided wizard. Progress is saved, so you can pick up where you left off after a refresh or re-login.
- Connect & sign in — click Connect, choose your wallet, approve the connection, and sign the sign-in message. This proves you own the wallet and starts a secure session — your wallet is never asked to sign a trade or reveal a key.
- Trading wallet is created for you — AntFlow automatically creates a deposit wallet — a smart-contract wallet on Polymarket that holds your trading balance and places your orders. You never handle a private key; it's generated and encrypted server-side. You can still export it later from Settings → Wallet if you ever want it.
- Fund your wallet — your deposit address is shown with a copy button. Send any USDC on Polygon (native USDC or USDC.e — both work) to that address. AntFlow detects the deposit, converts it to pUSD, and sets up the Polymarket approvals automatically — nothing else to configure. You can skip this step and fund later from Settings → Wallet.
- Pick a strategy profile — choose a risk preset (Orbit = conservative, Voyager = balanced, Nova = aggressive) to seed your sizing and risk defaults, then decide whether to turn on automation. Automated trading requires a paid or founding subscription; manual trading is free either way. You can change the preset anytime in Settings.
That's onboarding. From here:
- Trade manually right away — browse /markets (free, no subscription needed) and place trades from any market's ticket.
- Turn on automated strategies — go to Automation, enable CPA and/or FHM, and review the default settings. See the CPA and FHM guides for what each setting does. This requires a founding or paid subscription.
- Set risk limits — at minimum, set your position size, total exposure cap, and stop-loss. These are the guardrails that determine your maximum downside.
- Try simulation first — dry-run mode is on by default for automation. You can observe strategy behavior on the Dashboard before committing capital.
- Go live — disable dry-run in Settings → Engine. Confirm the danger dialog. The engine starts placing real orders immediately.
Which strategy first?
CPA requires no directional market view — it's pure math. FHM works best if you follow Polymarket favorites. Most users enable both from the start.
Simulation Mode
Dry-run mode is per-user and on by default. In simulation:
- Strategies evaluate and attempt orders normally
- Orders are marked SIM — no real CLOB orders are sent
- Risk checks, exposure limits, and exit rules all run as normal
- P&L is tracked on simulated fills
Warning
Switching from simulation to live trading sends real orders immediately. Confirm your risk limits and wallet balance before disabling dry-run.
