Fees & Costs
What you pay, when, and how to track it
AntFlow Transaction Fee
AntFlow charges a platform transaction fee on each CLOB fill. The rate depends on your membership tier:
| Tier | Maker fee | Taker fee |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1% | 2% |
| Founding Member | 0% | 0% |
| Fee Tier (paid) | 0% | 0% |
- Maker orders are resting limit orders that add liquidity to the book. Taker orders cross the spread and fill immediately.
- When is it charged? The fee is applied by the exchange at fill time via Polymarket's builder fee mechanism. It appears as CLOB Fees in your fill records and on the P&L → Fees tab.
- How to get 0%: Subscribe at /subscription. Pro membership is $100/month (founding members lock in a discounted early-bird rate). Founding and active paid members pay no AntFlow transaction fee.
Polymarket / CLOB Native Costs
Polymarket's Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) currently charges 0% exchange fees on all markets (as of V2, 2026). This means the only per-trade fee you pay through AntFlow is the AntFlow transaction fee described above. If Polymarket reintroduces exchange fees, they will appear as CLOB Fees in your fill records alongside the AntFlow fee.
Gas (On-Chain Operations)
Some operations require on-chain Polygon transactions and consume MATIC gas:
- Merge — combining complementary YES + NO tokens into $1 USDC (off-chain redemption is gasless; on-chain merge uses MATIC)
- Redemption — claiming payout for resolved markets
- Initial approvals — one-time ERC-20 approvals on first use
Gas costs are tracked in MATIC and shown on the P&L → Fees tab. When the platform relayer is active, AntFlow uses Polymarket's gasless relayer for merges and redemptions, reducing MATIC cost to zero — this is platform-side configuration and requires no action from you.
Spread & Slippage
Slippage is the difference between the expected fill price and the actual fill price. It is not a fee — it is an implicit cost driven by market liquidity and order size. AntFlow tracks per-fill slippage and surfaces it separately from CLOB fees on the P&L → Fees tab so you can distinguish exchange costs from execution quality.
Where to See Your Fees
- P&L → Fees tab — aggregate CLOB fees, gas costs, slippage, and a composition breakdown. Includes a fee-schedule reminder if you are on the free tier.
- Orders page — per-fill fee_rate_bps and the USDC fee deducted on each fill.
- Positions page — cost basis includes fill fees so unrealized P&L is net of fees paid.
